Happy Early Valentines Day Honey

I got my wife roses the other day. She was happy with the flowers, and I had another subject to shoot. I did my first attempt at a home-made studio. Damn, lighting is tricky. This shot seemed to come out the best and I decided to dress it up a little. Let me know what you think.

You've got the lighting very romantic mate. I think the dressing up looks rather professional as well. Since it is a still life you might want to try and increase the f stop maybe to f7 or f8 and let it expose for a little longer to get more clarity in the picture. I think a rose is beautiful because of it's lines and by shooting the lines it makes for a fantastic photo. The water effect is very good aswell.
