Very nice shot. I think you might loose that smack down. Geese are nasty if you get near their nest or their chicks (which you might have done without knowing) and they're strong enough to break a man's legs with their wings. I had one chase my car once because the dumb bird built a nest at the edge of a parking lot in an office park and I happened to drive by it. They're very photogenic birds, but they're also flying fertilizer bombers.

Geese are nasty this time of year because they are nesting. They overrun the park near my house and the hiss, threaten and sometimes even chase you when you walk there.

Lovely and rich shot Sean. As for laying the smack down on a goose...I wouldnt recommend it. I used to have a few back in England, believe me when I say fleeing not fighting is the better option ;)
