This was taken just a few moments before yesterdays shot. Instead of over looking town, I shot down the tracks towards the setting sun.

Very nice. This looks more like an illustration than a photograph. What post processing techniques do you use?

@Russ: Photomatix combined with Photoshop 7. I generated an HDR image in Photomatix with 4 different EV shots from a single RAW. Then I combined it with parts of the 4 TIFF images of -2,-1,0, & +1 EV produced from a single RAW file. It sounds like more work than it actually is. I really love the sky, but to properly expose the sky the ground is too dark. After I got the base image(after combining all of the other images), I drove up the contrast and selectively sharpened. Viola! All in all, it took about 20-25 minutes to process and most of that time was because my RAW program moves at a snails pace.
you are the pro along with PI Productions when it comes to PP effects..
